In the process of researching the cutoff time for purchasing Powerball tickets in New York (because my husband and I are due for some 460-million-dollar karma), I stumbled upon the most honest slogan I've seen in a long time: "Hey, You Never Know."
Off I go to invest ten (or twenty) actual dollars of hard-earned cash into our future. I know what you're thinking... I could absolutely choose a real-life investment opportunity that has a 100% chance of a return. I will be millions of times more likely to die on my way home today. And I almost certainly will not win, but hey, you never know.
